CDDP is an integral part of the Press-sense iWay solution. It can be extended to include additional training and implementation support, according to the Printer’s specific needs.
Together with two related Press-sense service packages, Advanced Learning and Turnkey Deployment, CDDP provides Print Service Providers with a complete range of services designed to help them get their Press-sense iWay system up and running in no time.

The Press-sense iWay solution was designed to effectively handle and streamline communications between Print Service Providers and their print buyer clients, while at the same time manage the printing process at the Print Service Provider side. Because iWay impacts the vast majority of print house business functions, from document creation, quotation and ordering cycles through the prepress and production processes and on to fulfillment and delivery, the system needs to be integrated into the full business flow. The quicker and more elegantly iWay is installed and integrated with the Print Service Provider's business practices and workflow, the more quickly and effectively they can benefit from the solution.

CDDP is much more than a simple on-site installation, as it encompasses a comprehensive program that implements iWay into Print Service Provider workflows right away.
In fact, with CDDP, Print Service Providers can begin using iWay almost from day one and thus can immediately realize the system's numerous benefits. Because the initial deployment provided with CDDP utilizes real customers and jobs, by the time Print Service Provider have successfully completed the CDDP, their Print Buyer clients will have already been exposed to their new iWay system. CDDP (Basic Deployment)
CDDP Basic Deployment is an essential part of the iWay product package. The foundation of CDDP is a four to six day session during which the Deployment Team instructs Print Service Providers how to set up their own system for at least one existing customer and at least three workflows. After running through an entire implementation cycle for a specific print buyer client, Print Service Providers will know how to implement basic workflows. More importantly, Print Service Providers will have already begun to use the system with their clients. The core CDDP service is available in the following packages designed to fit different needs:
- CDDP Basic (4 days) – Provides full deployment support for core Press-sense iWay functionality.
- CDDP Basic + VI (5 days) – Also includes deployment support for the variable information capabilities built into Press-sense iWay.
- CDDP Basic + MiWay (6 days) – Full deployment support for installations of iWay with the MiWay module.
Additional Options
Print Service Providers can purchase additional deployment days for specific iWay modules (such as iWay Set, Advanced VDP and others) or for additional services such as Excel pricing creation. Moreover, because the packages are modular, Print Service Providers can add deployment services as they go.
Advanced Learning
After the Print Service Provider completes the CDDP, they can undergo Advanced Learning that focuses on specific iWay functionality such as variable information, personalization and direct marketing techniques. The deployment departments of Press-sense partners carry out Advanced Learning via webinar, or can conduct the learning on-site at the Print Service Provider premises.
Turnkey Deployment
Turnkey Deployment is designed for Print Service Providers who would like to focus on a specific sophisticated implementation that delves into additional aspects of their business such as job analysis, definition, scoping, quoting, marketing and sales. Turnkey Deployment includes analyzing needs, defining the project, deploying the project on site and provision of other professional services as required.
